Finally after many years i’m back in the game, dragged the chook chaser out of the shed and just finished a run to manindi lakes up to inaminka via the corner from thuddungra.
it was a top ride through some beautiful country. the only drama was doing it alone, looking forward to catching up and meeting other riders who are as keen about long distance adventure riding as i am. my bike is a 96 xr600 has never let me down.

Welcome mate, go the XR600 we are heading out through some of that route in Oct but in a group guess you would have seen the thread in the ADV forum. Anyone with a XR is OK and well long distance rides well I am working on a 2 or 3 week ride for 2012 that will me a mother of a ride :laugh:

thuddungra in nsw . good luck with ride to the corner, i went just after the there biggest rain in years and only had about 280k,s of tar all the way it was mad. hopfuly i will get in a trip before the new year ,time gets away to quik. my other toy is an off its head yamy 660 raptor ,will be looking forward to racing it at condo next year but ive got remember im 38 not 18 any more. where are you planning your trip in 2012? i road across the the paddock to perth in 95 on a yamy xt550 now that was a good time 15 fellas and heaps of dirt ……anthony

I have just travelled through your part of the world a few days ago, on a round Oz trip (not on bikes though) and did notice that the rivers were high
