Yeah the WRs were, only limited percentage to the front I think around 25 to 35% from memory

KTM are working on two new 2WD systems, one hydraulic and the other a hybrid with electric motors in each wheel.

The only thing wrong with the electric idea in each wheel is all that un-sprung weight. Even If the bike was lighter all up I think they would have trouble with suspension. Just thought I would throw that in to muddy the waters of this all over the shop thread. :laugh:

Yeah I see where your coming from but surely this would be no heavier than a hydraulic hub they are also testing and was used on the 2WD Yamahas. Either way KTM are playing with the concept.

You are probably right Scotty. I think that the way forward for bikes will be with the drive train. CVT Electrics or the like will make smooth usable power. Bring it all on I say. And on both wheels well that would be sweet! As long as we all make some mention of the ride in the post it could be about anything. Yeah the weather was very good on the day :laugh: It would be a bit like a Seinfeld show the show about nothing! But I spose that is what you invented Cowpat corner for boon.

I wore out the last one you gave me and I have put a bit of weight on over Christmas so your Mrs hand me downs wont fit next time. So I was sort of hoping you could give me some of those suspender type things you wear under your riding kit :laugh:

it’s not a suspender it’s a dick restraint to stop me getting hit in the face by it when I go over the speed humps!
