August 13, 2012 at 3:34 pm #227137I think the cabin that Krusty and i are sharing may still have a free bunk left in it Chris72a, but since Krusty has dibs it’ll probably be the top one, and he hasn’t yet commented on how much he intends drinking or whether he has a flatulence or sleep apnea or is able to projectile vomit.
I’m sure you’d be welcome!
I have the queen bed – for obvious reasons… … thats right, I’m a Yamaha rider!!!August 13, 2012 at 10:55 pm #227369snowy09 wrote:KING BOLLOCKS wrote:Better get a list going of the punters that will be joing us Boony :cheer:Not telling you what to do or anything…..

While its almost flat it is technical, tight and aimed to boil the shit out of XR 650’s. if you dont like pine trees, logs, going fast past very close trees and having a bloody good time this will be one to avoid. To avoid destroying people there are regular scenic rest sections to have a short break between sections……….blah blah blahFeels like a slap in the face with your glove there Snowy…….challenge style!
Now your in Club Red, you need to read the manual a little more closely……..it says “no giving it to a model that will still be going strong when doing the valves & dropping a piston & ring in your new little weapon for the 4th time!!!
I’ll be there, but I’ll be bringing the little 1/4 horse. The big girl has earned it’s time in ‘the long yard’ as Slim sang.

August 15, 2012 at 6:50 pm #227138Hey Boony, after the sites updated tonight can we get a list of Fuc … ahem attendees for the ride?
:whistle:August 15, 2012 at 9:35 pm #227848Crash maybe I should have said the circuit is aimed to boil the shit out of one particular 650’s rider. Im sure the target rider will give as good as we give him but it makes the ride more interesting. Lugging a big bike round this track will be tough and there is virtually no where you can benefit from the extra power they bring, we punched four 250/s through the new part of the loop 13.5kms in 35 mins which only included a few short breaks and it is a real buzz. Combined with the other parts it promises to be a fun blast. Its certainly not for the feint hearted and has plenty of natural obstacles to bring nature and bike together but also to make you smile if your into singles.

August 17, 2012 at 10:57 pm #227897G`day campers
With the 2012 hills of gold ride at nundle quickly approaching a few the local lads have been out marking in a few new trails,(note I said marking not cutting)  theses trails will not have a single line on them when we ride them in October just some red arrows to follow, so in some parts its gunna be open slather on the best line.
I decided to bless the boys with my presence last Tuesday when they headed up to mark in a few more trails. We ended up with 14 ks of new trails, :cheer: there is some fast twin trails, some medium singles and some bike boiling tight stuff in the mix. As you have seen on another thread there is quite a few of them sneaky off camber slippery pine logs that will throw you as quick as look at you. But hey that’s TRAIL RIDING, if you don’t like logs buy an adventure bike.
Snow took his new toy up for the day and he seemed happy with it. Polly borrowed a 250 from bikes and bits Tamworth (matt couldn’t get a leave pass so his bike was free)From what I seen of the new stuff we are in for a good long ride. Looks like about 80ks to the berry patch (fuel), so those that have bought the new WR 450s, bring extra fuel.
Following the result of last year’s ride where i had to cut out most of the good trails, please be warned that might be some hard section on this ride, i need to get together with Bollocks and Co to see what route we will be taking. A lot of people want to ride the steps and some of the other tech stuff , which is fine but I will need to have the ride at the berry patch on time for my lunch as the owners’ will be bringing in staff to help cook and serve it.
Anyway heres some pickies of the marking day.The weapon of mass disrtuction
Snowdrops new toy, lookin all perty ( for how long?)
Now seriously, yous are in good hands, this is what happened when i said where was that last trail we marked boy,
