Johnny Campbell and JCR have won the Baja again, thats 14 on the trot, see all the details here

It was going to be a close thing this year as Steve Hengeveld one of the best desert racers in the world left Honda and went to KTM who put together a gun team and things looked promising for the star-packed Bonanza-Plumbing KTM team of David Pearson, Steve Hengeveld and Mike Childress. The team was battling the 1x Honda for the overall lead in the early stages until the KTM 530 XCW’s engine let go at the 200-mile mark

I thought that as well Aaron, it happened at the 200 mile which is 320 kms thats about the kms they get out of the KTM Finke engines. The CRF’s have held the title since 2006. Its a 1000 mile / 1600km race thats a bloody long race, worlds longest point to point race. Honda filled the top 10 spots again this year

2 fiddy in the top ten what an effort in those conditions. Check out the AVERAGE speeds .As for Steve/Ben. I would like to be able to ride a 450/530 hard enough to lunch the engine in 320 k’s. That is WITH oil and coolant in the engine
