    HOT2TROT Bites the dust.
Well old mates, here I sit in Concord hospital 4 hrs after popped shoulder and separated ligament. Took a spill 1/2 way through Sunny corner Rally with 40 K,s to go.
Doc inserted a metal plate called a hook which allows the Ligament to rejoin itself in 6 weeks while permanently in a sling. When the sling comes off after 6 weeks and in 3 months, Under the knife again to remove the plate. Amazing technology!!

Bloody flat spot on Hussaberg down low. I just entered a good road after riding through a great single and came to a small flat bloody minor inclined right hander , so to help turn decided to give the accelerator just a little squirt to allow the back end to slide and help turn.
Well much to my unexpected surprise through the flat spot , It suddenly reved excessively and popped a bug wheelie instead. Happened so fast couldn’t get the nose down fast enough and the footpeg grabbed a 30 cm pine tree capatulting me sideways and hard on my shoulder elbow, helmet crashing to ground.

Sweeps turned bike off after 5 mins and sat me up. They checked me out and said ride out 30- 40 k’s if u can it’s the quickest but had to follow the marked rally trail. Alternatively wait for other sweeps to get serious help. Anyhow I don’t know how I managed to get on my bike , but somehow did so, Once I got rolling and in a lot of pain rode the route to the end
Stuffed the second loop up for Tony my son who was with me, But otherwise what a great weekend , will do it all for sure next year, less the accident.
A very strange thing: Even though I was injured and riding for 1.5 hours that way, There were many occasions when I really enjoyed the ride and terrain/ country.

Well getting the carby fixed and maybe a recluse clutch ???
    Cheers old Mates
