Shit happens I suppose, or it did on Saturday as I rode the adventure Nissan out to meet the boys taking part in the Saturday Nundle trail ride. Had hardly gotten onto the dirt bit (lucky I had my GPS esky and spot tracker with me and my engine map set to not on tar any more) than a rock flicked up off the rear tyre (bloody Goodyears) hit one of the two hundred Jerry cans on the trailer and bounced back to take out the rear window. I knew I was in trouble now, I could get dusty!

Quick stop a garbage bag and a whole roll of duct tape and I was on the road ( oops I meant off road)again and met the boys at the Berry patch.

Then in an blody nice and certainly appreciated gesture the boys had had a whip around and presented me with $250 in cash to offset the cost of the window. Had a new one installed yesterday and at $730 the money the boys all chucked in to help was friggin unreal.

Thanks to all of you bloody legends. Snowy

Forewarned there snowy, the little one is actually dearer. Told ya you should have passed the hat around again ….. bloody nissan, they dont miss you.

Maybe you should have auctioned off all that fuel to the local servo and made a run for it :) Glad the big nissan is fixed and ready for adventure

Glad ya got some coin from some of the boys, Snowman.
I thought there was more like 36 riders on Saturday x $10 = a little more.
We all put in what we had I guess???
If I had more than $20 on me at the Berry patch, Tim and I would of thrown it to such a good cause.
    Especially a fellow 4.2TD Patrol owner. B) B) B) B) B)
