Husky too slow

    Hey there curlyman, I thought all 08 huskys’ came with a “race” pipe as a spare and allso a differant sensor for the pipe, maybe that was only for the little brothers of the fleet.

    Yeah, only for the Te 510 and lower. I hear they make a sport pipe for the 610’s but is only a touch freer than the standard ones. On the o2 sensor thing, i think the Husky’s ecu goes to a closed loop when the sensor is removed, allowing for the modification in the bikes breathing. On e thing I do know for certain is that the 610’s are definately NOT slow.. :cheer:

    You can buy the software for these things to change the settings yourself. One of the guys on another site was playing around with it. Can’t remember who it was now though…

    Got the little indicators from Ballards,:huh: and the pipe made a little difference but sounds cool its actually quieter at idle than standard pipe and husky shop fitted it and just played with mixtures been good so far had no problems in 12 months pipes been on;) :laugh:

    The bloke I spoke to in Casino said his Husky dealer removed the O2 sensor and they put a resistor across it, and all goes ok. I’m not sure what resistance to use but will get the dealer to do it for me.
