2010 HVMCC 2 DAY MOTOCROSS TEAMS CHALLENGE
Fundraising event for Scott Sheather
On the weekend of 31st July 2010, Hastings Valley Motorcycle Club will host a Teams Challenge motocross event to help raise funds to assist Scott Sheather following his accident while competing at Grafton. With the assistance of MNSW all proceeds from the event will directly assist Scott in his long road to recovery.
The event will be run over two days and consist of Five Rounds of racing, the first two rounds commencing at 1pm on Saturday. Saturday evening will see the fundraising efforts step up a notch with a spit roast, an Auction of donated goods and then dance the night away with DJ Moto. The racing will commence again Sunday morning.
The team format for the event will be ‘three man”. Riders will be asked to nominate a three rider team, each to compete in separate classes. There will be trophies awarded for three overall classes…
1. JUNIOR ie: A 65cc rider, 85cc rider and 125cc rider
2. MIXED ie: two juniors and a senior or vice versa
3. SENIOR ie: three riders from separate senior classes
The race day will simply be conducted as normal but points scored by each rider will be tallied up towards the teams total. Teams are encouraged to wear shirts or fancy dress and nominate their own team name etc.
Entry Junior $35, Senior $50, Camping $20 per vehicle.
