HVMCC Pony Express

Just a heads up for guys that may be interested.
The Hastings Valley MCC at Wauchope/Port Macquarie will hold their first Pony Express on June 14 this year.
You can do the 4 hrs as a Iron man or do it as a team with a mate.
It is always a great social race with no sheep stations on the line.
Moose and I are thinking about entering the Xrs in the Masters class,just for laughs.

If I can get someone to officiate on my behalf for the sunday, I am going to team with Lurch on his bike cause he wont let me use Betty, he says I will fall off, I dont see the difference, I will fall off his just the same:laugh: :laugh:

Yes Bill is a Master(blaster), but I am worried about his lap ratio scheme, he wants me to do 25 laps to his one, in a 8-12 lap event I am confused;) :dry: :huh:

last time i went iron man a couple of years ago it was ken hot and nearly killed me but got 9 laps in, mad Myers won with 18 laps 2nd was 12 laps well run day one problem is the two scrutineers hate Hondas :silly: 😆

Yeah, a 30 minute lap must be pretty tiring at race pace :ohmy:

20 min laps no rest (had to stop at 2hr mark)after 20min rest managed a few after at half pace

dont need to worry about faster riders as you can see them catching you (as it is tight and twisty single trail) in plenty of time to get out of there way.
