I cant speak for my partner (Moose) and we decided way back Masters was our class seeing as though both our bikes are over 10 years old and we are 40+. Taking the pigs in the race was for the fun of it not to compare our results against younger,fitter,faster guys on state of the art RACE BIKES.
AnonymousOn any other day you talking about how the XR600 will keep up with any of the newer bikes and how you take pleasure in riding past them on hills (read the Wauchope ride thread) yet now when some timing is involved you’ve got crappy 10 year old bikes blah blah blah.

I have just spoken with Moose and he would rather ride the all powers class, one in all in he reckons adds to the excitement on the day, see you in all powers MICK

Mate that has happened twice in my riding career, where I have passed someone on a hill,let me and the XR have our moment of glory will ya,without you bringing it up and rubbing my face in it…LOL
The XR will keep up with the newer bikes don’t you worry about that.so long as it is a straight bit of road;) :SI just don’t see the point in entering a race in a class that I am totally out of my depth.The masters class is there for a reason and that is for old farts like me that still are silly enough to enter a race in the first place.
Just spoke to Rat we will team up if we are doing teams
