Well, I’m confirmed for the Pony Express now. Amazingly my boss is going to go! Yehaaaaa….bring it on

TB is trying to get his Brissy training course changed to the Tuesday as opposed to the Monday so he can still partner me up

Righto Mick whats doin with this ride, rumour’s etc around it may get called to wet??

For those of us that are traveling and need to organise things, what do you know at the minute? or can you find out for us?

I just made a call to one of the organisers and at this stage it is still on. They said the last thing they would want to do is call it off.
I would suggest they will look at the track and the forecast this weekend. Even if it stops raining now it is gunna still be very muddy. It is still raining on and off now and apparently will untill Friday.So the track will have bugger all chance to dry out completely by The 13th,so good knobbies will be a great idea.
That is the best I can offer at this stage guys.

Unfortunatly the planned Pony Express for this Weekend had been postponed due to the condition of the track.The continual rain has made certain sections of the club’s land required to run a pony express, to wet and boggy.
Club officials told me they will instead run a race day on the Sunday only, in a sprint format (riders racing aagainst the clock).
They told me the track would not stand up to two days of racing and would be buggered after the juniors raced it on the Saturday.
Sign on and scrutineering for the Sprints will start from 7am Sunday and racing will be from 9am.

Bugger indeed, but kind of good too. It was looking like a big ask to get the towbar fitted to my car in time and I was just about to try and make alternative arrangements.

When will I get to do my first race! The first was missed due to my thumb and now the second one is called off

there was a trials day (on enduro bikes) at cessnock you could have went to this weekend

i did it last year, it was one of the funnest events i’ve have ever done.
they did wheelies comps and barral racing too.

ccdr is having a ‘grass track training day’ later this month at singleton.

me and enzo are racing kids bikes next month at kurri. i could lend you my bike for a class.

New date for the pony is 4th of oct and now is 3 hrs long not 4 hrs as jr and snr are on the same day now
