Hey Crash I am going to Coffs Harbour the weekend before for a ride up there that is yet to be posted, I finish training at Coffs on the friday and would be interested in the pony express in the same class as Mick and Moose although maybe the iron man class with Lurch.
Mick can we get a day licence?
Hey Mick why dont we all iron man?

Boys you can get one day licenses for $55 and then you can get one day memberships for $10, then you need to pay the race fees for the day and I think they are around the $25-$30 mark, the guys who have road licenses will not have to do a ride test, but those who dont will have to do them(with me as the assessor), all who get a day license will have to do a 25 question multiple choice knowledge test(and I will have the answers on display for a small fee), when you have finished all that you are ready to roll, and I say you all dont have an idea how rough and tight it will suddenly become around the 3 hour mark and it takes some insanity to still push in the last hour……………BRING ON THE HONDA BOYS.
Anyone wanting to know more just ask
February 5, 2009 at 9:50 am #120828I am planning on iron man I think, Chicken is keen for the iron, crash well I am not sure and I am trying to talk Mick into it, we are tough Old Bulls
Rough and tight, it will be the same as many a race I reckon I have done in the last 20 odd years of racing even though everyone that sets a track says its the tightest and roughest, I am sure it will be both but it comes down to how you ride it. Come on Dave iron it, one man 1 bike, shouldn’t be a problem or wont Betty make it maybe?

February 5, 2009 at 10:09 am #120834The pony express is hard work. let alone iron man. Having swept the event for three years, I am qualified to comment. You will not as a 40 year old + trail rider turn up for work on Monday if you are there to take the event seriously.
February 5, 2009 at 10:10 am #120835Iron man and Nothing else for me, no one else to blame but yourself as well:laugh:
