Ok, I`m up for a new model of Hydration pack! The 14 yo Camelback Pakster is being retired:dry:

What do you other Old Bulls think is the general all round go with these for Trail riding??

I was thinking of a Camelback Cloudwalker, expensive I know ($120) but I had a great run out of the other Camelback which isn`t busted just yet, I just want more space for storage & a new Bladder with longer hose will be better than turning my melon to drink from the old one:huh:

I have seen some cheap option around but reckon ya get what ya pay for ??? Especially when it comes to Bladders.

A Camelback Mule, holds three litres plus overnight clothes for the rides that don’t have support vehicles

Always get one bigger than you need Eagle, cause you will always use it

Come to think of it,,,, I already have a Carribee pack about this size that holds a bladder in the back,,,, I could use it for longer rides if need be.
Maybe I just need a standard size new unit with a new bladder that I can move from 1 to the other:dry:
    Decisions decisions ???

Camelback do make a good product though, hard to beat

I use a 3L Camelback (not the Mule it’s smaller) and it has been great. The 3 litres helps for those real tough days where the 2 litre ones were running out and it also carries all my tools and food etc. :) Well worth the $120-$130 or whatever it was I apid for it.

It’s even in fetching KTM Orange and Grey :P

so you CAN lead an eagle to water….

but you cant make him turn his head to drink……

    interesting concept:laugh:

I run the Cloudwalker Eagle and find it just right for holding all the esentials [camera, phone, maps, tools, red frogs and still has enough room to put my jacket sleeves when it gets a bit hot]
I also bought a cheap bladder so I can put gatorade in it for the long hauls but I use the camelback mouthpiece.

I always used Gatorade in the old bladder, what`s th go with the cheap bladder P-Dub???

I use the cheap bladder because I reckon that Gatorade leaves a residue in the bladder,so I can run water in the good one and it tastes like water.
