    I agree on the one main line theory,evan it was a disused logging access road that closed over but bikes keep the main line going to a couple of tire widths. Like your shots STM.

    And legal wise you can ride old forest roads that have closed on to be s/t’s,theres heaps of them around that 95% of 4×4’s won’t go down cause of fear of scratching their paint.

    What’s the “speed” bit refer to Boony?

    Oh bit of confusion in my brain now, cause S/T and single line mean the same to me, there is no way to take another line.. ie; too dense bush or trees. Just grass and stuff can be ridden over (despite the fact logs and the like hide in it) and turned into twintrail.

    If you can get a 4wd down it, to me it doesn’t qualify as S/T or S/L

    A lot of the riding in this link is single track but these blokes still manage to get a 4wd down there.

    Wish i was going STM i like the look of your track shots.

    Bruce i think you summed it up
    S/T = bikes only
    S/L = one line but a 4×4 could fit
