February 26, 2009 at 4:43 am #123945Clutch nut too loose has done that on my young fella’s pro-seniors and his MA, if not seated on the shaft it spins and then catches. Each time was my fault for not cleaning the shaft of old Locktite and then undertorquing the nut.
It is a real problem if your nuts are undertorqued

Mr Blue is right as to a probable cause, when you replace the side cover gasket with the new one you ordered a week or so ago, just check the nut to see if it has come loose, it should be around the 25ft.lb or 35Nm so please make sure all is good there, I love the sound of Kieran’s voice when I spoke to him this afternoon, he sounded real happy, I told him I will teach him how to do Burnouts and skids when I see him at my next MX School.
