Nothing flash if you ask me,a two pot Kwaka with a ironing board for a seat and a fancy paint job.In terms of modern technology they are not the most innovative thing ever. The point is they look cool and that’s why I want one

Unfortunately I bought the paper at midday:( .

November 22, 2009 at 10:17 am #134743I still can not believe that I actually got to meet Charley!!!!
I have got all of his dvd’s and I have read both of his books, although not the latest series as I have only seen the dvd.
So I made an impulse buy yesterday (i’m not a big shopper) & bought the 2nd book of the By Any Means series so I would have something for Charley to sign!!! (forgot my other dvd’s – bummer!)
It was really good as Charley was just wondering around the Deus shop so you could just wander over & ask him to sign your book etc and ask for a photo!!!!! Apparently Charley was only over here for 6 days as a promotional thing & was flying back today. Charley & Ewan are planning another adventure probably through south america!!!! Unfortunately Charley didn’t give any hints on far way this trip was going to be.
I think he is a really nice person, it was the end of the day, it was hot & he would have been bugged all day by people like me & yet he was still super nice – just as we see in the dvd’s.
I did want to tell him that it was Long Way Down that got inspired to ride but I didn’t really get the chance and now thinking about it, it probably would have sounded silly…..
I had a really great day yesterday!!!!!………….
November 22, 2009 at 10:24 am #162320You should of told him Tracy, its nice to hear nice stories of celebrities going that but extra for the public. And they are great photos of you both (you and Rodney)

AnonymousIt does look like a good day Tracy. The old series is being shown on Foxtel and does come across as a decent guy.
I need to get down to the Deus Ex Machina shop someday soon. I’ll make a beeline in the new year I think.
