Thought I would post this here rather than DBW as all I would get is smart ass comments…

Long story short, my husky chewed a few engine internals on Sunday and it’s going to be a month before I even look at getting her back :'(

Just wondering if anyone on here has an old XR or something of the like that doesn’t get alot of use and won’t mind lending for a while till the husky is fixed.

I know it’s a big mega hugeeeeeeeeeeeeee ask, but 4 weeks at least off the bike!!!! That’s just not on :'(

Well hopefully something good comes, I’m already getting the black dog just thinking bout this!

    Peace and cheers

yeah apparently some parts have to be ordered from sweeden so there’s two to thre weeks tere…

wats gets me is i had the bike in my mates/mechanics workshop last week saying, “somethings wrong, lets pull it apart”. Didn’t happen, farjken kerbang!

Anyhow, what year’s the 600? I’m looking to buy one for when I travel Australia. What exactly is wrong with it?

Cheers mate, this no bike business is already killing me!!! :(

Sorry about the Husky mate :( I don’t have a spare bike either, otherwise you could have borrowed it.

Crikey Ben, she was running so sweet just a little while ago too, we also have a spare bike at home, unfortunately you not being a small lad and all may upset the balance of a 36kg 50cc vicious-clutched pro-senior!.

Any demo bikes out there you could trial?

Maybe you could hire a bike? Not a cheap option I know, but needs must and all… I know the no-bike feeling and was climbing the walls after about 3 weeks! Best of luck with it… by the way, drinking doesn’t help!! ;)

The 600 has had the cam kinda melt to the head a bit on the middle journal (due to my brother not checking the oil)and she is also in the need of some rings. It still starts easy and runs but I dunno how long for. I have a spare head and another cam but the cam is a bit suss.
It has a 630 kit in it and it is a 94 model.
