    I had the wheels left over from the DRZ so I decided to adapt them to the Beemer.
    Had to change front bearings to suit larger dia. axle, new spacers to centre wheels and a new caliper bracket for the front (thanks Ollie).
    It turned out OK, rides well handles well so far but haven’t ridden it much in this mode yet.

    that thing looks trick as!! im thinking i might have to trade my cbr 600 on a nice motard set up, i could see myself fanging to work on one of those!!

    I rode my bike to work one day last week…I don’t know how you blokes keep your licences!!!

    Heh, heh, thanks guys. I like it too but I dont know how long my licence would last if I ride it much in Motard, the speedo doesn’t work with these wheels on!

    I got the radiator repaired, lost 2 tubes but that’s OK. BMW said they will still warrant the bike with a repaired radiator.
    The broken shroud caused BMW to do a recall on some bikes which have ‘brittle’ plastics and ALL the plastics are to be replaced at the expense of Acerbis who made them, they are meant to be unbreakable and BMW are adhering to that :)
    I hope I can keep the old plastics.
