Hi Old Bulls. I have been sitting on the sideline for ages reading over the shoulder of my partner, Mal5.1. Now I see there is a female orientated thread, I thought I would join up and support the new moderator KylieD and the growth of the site.

I own a TTR125 that I ride around home and we pick up our adventure bike this weekend. So I’ll be posting some rides and reports soon.

I reckon that you are going to have a great time with Mal on the beemer. I couldn’t get over DanD’s face on our recent trip down to Wisemans Ferry (dirt way) as he was so happy with the whole adventure bike thing.

We’ll have to organise another adventure bike ride so that we can catch up. I’m sure TB would have something in mind.

Once again though, it’s really good to have you on board.

I have one question for you – Did you or have you ever bagged Mal about the time spent on OBT?

As for going on adventure rides I am keen as. Are we going two up Kylie? Do I have to sit on the back? :huh:

Yes Kylie we are working on dates as we speak, we will only be doing day trips for starters but am sure that suits you better with the kids

Thanks Kylie, I’ve posted a ride report tonight for our first “big beemer day out” and yes, it was great. Really, really, really keen now to get out and do more and I’m sure they’ll happen soon.

Sorry Bollocks, Mal’s right, we have a “his and hers” computer set up and we’re usually sitting side by side at the computer anyway. If there’s any pushing to be done, it’s usually Mal shoving my hand off his computer….. I can type and he can’t – it’s unbearable.

Thanks Dan, honest answer…. No. I don’t know what he’s told you, but like I say, if I am home I’m usually sitting with him while he’s on there. If I’m not home, he’ll fill me in the next day on anything I’ve missed. It’s almost like “Days of our Lives”. That’s sad isn’t it?

I’m a bemmer girl..thanks to my bemmer boyfriend.. I have the F650GS for my road bike but went for the Honda 230 for my trailbike…. I’m addicted to riding and looking forward to meeting other like minded ladies. Hope to meet up with you soon on a ride.
