Cheap as

Good on you for helping hour but no way its 15mins, not even on the 650 mate! Is that what their site says? It’d take 40mins at 6am or closer to an hour at 8am.
Moto’s offer is your best so far mick. It’s odd that they haven’t built something nearby there yet but I guess it’s not that busy an airport yet.
March 22, 2010 at 10:39 pm #174056All the ones TB has mentioned are more like 20 to 30 minutes from the airport which is about as close as you will get. Anything in Newcastle near the beach or foreshore is almost as close as any other in Raymond Terrace or Heatherbrae and will give you mor to do outside as far as eating or entertainment goes.

If you want to miss the flight and stay in newcastle!
I just looked at the formule 1 site and it says
Quote:NEWCASTLE (30.00 km / 18.64 mi)so I’m guessing you thought that was minutes, rather than miles, TB??

At 5 am in the morning like the man said AB, 30kms? I said 18mins would still say 20mins give or take at that time of the morning

March 22, 2010 at 11:56 pm #174060That’d require an average speed of 90kms/hr the entire trip. Ignoring parking/dumping your car of course, the speed limit might get to 90 here or there but enough of it is 60 and then there’s the traffic lights.
Sorry to push it I’m bored

AnonymousI drive along most of the required route a lot and can’t see it sensibly being done in 18 minutes, even at that time in the morning.
You also are driving through a police speed trap hot spot, I got done the other day on this stretch of road and will soon lose my license as a result.
March 23, 2010 at 1:52 am #174094Hey Moto how far from your place to the Airport?? About half an hour isn’t it?
March 23, 2010 at 1:53 am #174096
AnonymousYeah 30 minutes mate at a cruise. 6.7 for TB

Bugger. No wonder you were so quick to offer mick a ride to the airport at 5am, with Tyne having to drive I bet you’d probably stay in bed with the dogs!

AnonymousHaha, I’ve stayed at Mick’s before and he has looked after my bike when I did the Pony Express. Always nice to return the favor.
All Old Bulls are welcome at my place, well, except Menace he’d wipe his nut sack on my pillows
