I am getting back into trail riding after about 10 years off, having a family of 3 kids takes alot of time, I am sure most of you blokes know what I am talking about any way I have a DRZ 400 and am pretty keen on hitting the track again so this site is just what I need (help)
I am self employed as a workcover assessor in earthmoving.
Earth works training is the business name.I look forward to meeting, riding with and having a Beer with you blokes

August 11, 2008 at 12:29 pm #106931Hey Tractor Boy & Scotty, welcome guys, good to have a couple more locals on board, make sure you tell all your mates, theres plenty of good riding not to far away for us. Clarence Is probably the best closest to us only an hour and a bit away.. Will have to get some day rides going when all the weekend kids sport finishes. The best thing you can pick me up on the way when you drive through blaxland..
Cheers
Chris.August 14, 2008 at 5:43 am #106869Hi Scotty and any one around Penrith.

August 14, 2008 at 7:32 am #106870Hi Trailboss
Mate I would love to do that but I am moving from Glenmore Park to Leonay on the 29th so I think the cook would probably do a Linda Bobet on me.
I am basicly looking for some free advice on DRZ 400.Cheers

August 14, 2008 at 7:51 am #107012Mate has the dearest DR in Australia and has been asked to post his DR setup tips but nothing yet.
I helped set a mates up before he went to the dark side (road riding)1/ Suspension set up, can do it yourself see tech tips or bike prep threads on the forum or better still take it to Fathead at Battyes doesnt cost much when you see how much better and safer your bike is
2/ Bark busters, radiator guards and bash plate
3/ Good tyres and Michellin heavy duty tubes
4/ Exhaust, staintune tail pipe baffle out
5/ JD jetting kit
6/ Get rid of the speedo and fit a trip meter CRF Honda one or WR Yamaha one fit the cable end I am told, can get them on e bay in the states
7/ Good brake pads, again Fathead can hook you up with the best of pads they arnt cheap but I am still running the same ones from the 4 day in 2006 and they dont wear the discs
That will do for now lol
Contact me if I can help through PM
