Hi All,
Just saying Hi as an introduction.
Just registered this evening. I am 50’ish, married and living in Melbourne. I fly internationally for a “day” job and over the past 3 years have just gotten back into riding after a long break. Currently setting up an ’09 KLR 650 in my spare time, and also have:
1995 CBR 1000F, 2000 BMW 1100RT,1954 BMW R25.
Hope to be able to get to some rides in Vic in the coming months after I get the KLR up and running.
In Oct finished an Across Australia ride (Fremantle to Proserpine) through the Simpson Desert taking 15 days.
Have also ridden the RT 1100 from Redciffe north of Brisbane to Melbourne.
The CBR up over the snowies and a few other rides like this.

Welcome to OBT, their are plenty of old bulls in Vic , although I’ve never been lucky enough to ride with any( one day )
I’d been keen to here more about your cross oz trip, what bike did you use? How many did the ride? was it an organized tour ? Etc.

So looks like you’ve drop the title “Jetstar John” and its now “Huddo”. I like it. Great to see you join the site and I’m sure the Victoria OBT’ers will treat you ‘gently’. I’ve shared with many OBT’ers that you gave me the courage to get through the Simpson Desert and without your friendship, banter and that lovely wife of yours you made the trip more enjoyable than I thought possible.

I look forward to seeing the KLR fixed…..( if you have any questions I’m sure the guys will give plenty of advice) and we are out hitting the dirt – Snowy mountains here we come.

Check out “Event Ride Dates” “Big Ride Dates 2011” and start bidding for flights that don’t clash with the rides….

Jeffro – you are quick off the mark in putting Huddo and Jetstar together as one in the same.
