    Gooday,

I have just joined the old bull trailriders forum. Looks like there are quiet a few good rides and lots of laughs out there!

I own a DR650 that has a bit of suspension work done to it and ride by planning my routes on a gps and getting to destinations that usually serve a cold beer and have a good steak. I usually head through the NSW south eastern mountains or vicco high country but have recently completed an outback run out round the Diamantina, Birdsville and back to Canberra. The DR is fine for fire trails but I struggle on single track. Struggling is generally due to a decreasing skill level that is function of not enough riding and dare I say the onset of middle age.

I love the wind in the face while heading towards an unknown destination along a route that I haven’t been on! This often leads to some mongrel hills, tree crossings, de drowning the poor old DR, and a big grin.

I hope to ride with some of you guys soon.

Well Baldy,, You have come to the right place to fulfill most of those habits of yours ;)

And sounds like you have stolen the more appropriate username for some of us too
You will love some of the adventure these blokes get up to and I hope you get a spot on the upcoming 2 Dayer to Woodstock in December mate (not at my expense though) 😆

The 2 Day Nav format is fantastic and TB and his team of sidekicks have led us on some cracking weekend rides all over the place the past 18 months.

Be sure to check out the ride coming up in a fortnight at St Albans if it is close enough for you. It will be a fun campover on the Sat night and most likely a great ride on the Sunday ,,, Great chance to meet & greet some of the crew as well :)

Welcome to the nuthouse and hope to catch up with yuu soon ;)
