Naa James, it’s all just friendly Sh%t Stirring!

    I love Steak……….but I don’t just eat Steak!

I love Desert Racing, Single tracks, Motard, Adventure riding, A4DE, Condo 750 Navigational, Pony Express, Twin track, Grass track, Road riding, Track days etc
I love watching MotoGP, Superbikes, Drag racing, Trials, Extreme Last man standing type etc

Does anybody really believe that the choice is only Single track or Adventure riding?

    Well………………………….

I actually do both I ride my adv bike along the road and explore new places , fire trails and lovely scenic areas ………………………….

    on the way

And then i harden the F up turn the corner and find some single trail of any description or trail

And its always an adventure when you drive 9-12 hrs to ride your bike in some strange and foreign land …..or sea of fresh water

And its always an adventure going to race days ( just wish i discovered it years ago when you heal quicker)

If you can or would drive someone elses car along it ……………..maybe u should be driving

I personally think adv ridnig was invented before the introduction of 3 b cream , those that couldn’t stand up or handle sitting on a hard as fk seat opted for the lounge chair and a latte warmer :)

And Tb Come on if you have ridden all the trails there are to ride …… u should be Awsome :P

    And even if you have

get off your arse and make some new ones :P , i actually thought it would suck making trails but its not bad, time consuming but good :)

Not sure that i will ever enjoy adv riding , to me it is boring as all fk

I have tried a little bit of it , not on a lounge chair though

For me personally, riding is riding what ever your style.
I used to only ride road many years ago and only got into trail riding because my youngest son ( now 13 ) wanted to learn to ride and I am enjoying it.
I still like the road and regularly ride with my 25 yr old son.
Even though I haven’t had a go at ADV riding I suspect it is something in between the 2.
We all like to take the mickey out of each other and that’s what makes this site what it is.
    My 2 cents worth.

I agree, each to their own as long as your enjoying the riding then its all good.
It wouldn’t be un Australian no tho take the piss out of each other, just wouldn’t be right.
As long as it is all in fun then there is no drama

I am looking at getting an ADV bike soon as i kinda like the idea of seeing the country on a bike, I want to go the corner, the rock, the tip etc and can’t imagine that there is a better way of ding it than on a dirt bike.
I am going to start with a smaller bike, maybe a DR650 or KTM690 and see how I go.

I like the idea of heading off somewhere on Saturday morning, ending up at a pub somewhere on Saturday night and home again sunday

as long as I am riding then its all good :) :)

    Yep me!

But I only have ONE bike… if I had two I would do both, but I don’t, so I can’t. :pinch:

After all one man’s Erzberg is another man’s boring trail ride…

There are not enough weekends in a year to have 2 bikes. There are already too many trail rides and races to attend without thinking about adventure riding.

    plus it is gay :P
