I’d like to float something. Generally speaking we are a lucky bunch of people. I’m willing to bet most of us have stuff that we don’t really need, doesnt have to be bike related.
Here’s the rules. (only 2)
1) You post something you dont want. Someone sees it and says I will have that, you post it C.O.D (http://auspost.com.au/business/cash-on-delivery.html)
2) Its not for some people to just keep grabbing stuff because its free, you really need to have a use for it so be fair and give it some thought
The only thing is that I’d like to see no money change hands for the object. You only pay the postage to receive it, no whinging or whatever. You do it just because you can. There is no obligation, no recrimination. Just because someone may need it more than you.
So to start. I have some riding gear, yes well used but still got heaps of life left. Free to someone who needs it. A set of elbow pads. And a set of Fox pants size 40 in good nick I like over pants now. These are free to someone who needs some riding gear. Just PM me your address and I’ll post em to you, you go to your post office pay the postage and away you go
It would be marvelous if this grew to something special. Feel free to tack on anything you like to this thread even your thoughts on this idea
Maybe it could be karma for your next life

September 16, 2010 at 8:56 am #187461TB is giving this a little time to see if it takes off. His thinking is we all have stuff kicking around we will never use and will never bother selling, why not give it to someone who will use it.
Stated in the first post, there would only be the couple of points / rules.

We would like it to be kept semi serious and on topic as it could be a good thing. Remember it doesnt have to be bike related

Cool, I have a couple of things from my MN Triton GLXR that I’m happy to find a new home for:
* Sports/Roll bar
* Bash platesGiven weight/size postage isn’t pratical but I might be able to deliver to some parts of Sydney, otherwise pick up in Wollongong.
September 20, 2010 at 9:10 pm #187664Something from the shed I no longer need.
A front wheel bearing,seal and king pin shim kit, to suit the front hub on a Hilux 4×4. I bought it for my old 88 hilux.
It is better off with someone that can use it.September 24, 2010 at 4:05 am #187257ok i have a new KTM 03 300 tail light lens.
bought it to replace the one on my bike. didn’t end up putting it on before i traded it.
i’m not too sure if it will fit the other capacity EXC’s of the same year, but reckon it would.
