Glad it went sort of well . Can’t wait to see the pics and stories of the day. You will be pleased to know it has not rained west of Dalby at all. What was the story about Steves KTM…… Did you have a ride on one and realize that you own an ag bike. :P :P Come on stop with the teasers.

Didn’t they say 600’s would boil on those singles??? Its hard to boil a bike with ice on the header.

all was good mick until Bolls, house and myself stopped and changed Buzzs brothers flat for him, it was then that we got cold, and no amount of riding was gunna warm us up. the dash in the wall said 5 degree when I started it to get the heater going… Cold and miserable,, but hey i`de do it again tomorrow.. about 20 mil of rain,

I think it is about 850 mtr on the trails,, dont quote me on that…

The queens birthday ride…it was colder than the Queens tit
and wetter than….oh i will leave that one alone :P
17 drenched riders headed off and 15 made it back…not bad for us :pinch:
Boony gave the usual speech and off we went :cheer:
I actually got to do a bit of lead riding through the pines..but i managed to miss the track 3 times..so i sacked myself..funny..i didn’t hear any complaints
House swept and i scored a direct hit on him with a face full of roost..prime cold smelly mud…its perfectly ok to roost the sweep isn’t it ?
We soon found our first challenge for the day..our area of singles had been attacked by the logging mob and the track was replaced with a beautiful smooth dozered track..fine in the dry..but in the wet…something else !!!! Hot steamy bogged bikes everywhere !!!
This is a distance shot of the dozered track of doom..note the logging carnage, added well with the bike carnage

What can I say that hasn’t already been said, other than next time I’ll wear a wet suit.
Everyone that I spoke to said that they were glad they came for the laughs. Even my little brother said that he would do it again, but he asks that you don’t use so much dust suppressant next time Boony
He asked that I thank everyone for the day and especially Boony, House and Bollocks for changing his flat when his hands wouldn’t work and the generous hospitality given by Barb and Slav at the Berry Patch and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone passing through the area.
