Yes Steve and Clubby are at the same accommodation as the girls and Steve Tunley now. Just organising one of the KTMs ( A broken KTM the shock oh the shock of it  ) to get to the KTM dealer tomorrow morning in Coffs (thanks STM for the directions) The break is Andrew’s ankle and his a bad one was the feedback from Steve I got second hand.
Amy said there was a fair bit more technical riding in there again today which is good, to qoute her “Great tracks great riding” Bikes are all fine I think their biggets drama of the day was Mick who is travelling with them until this evening I think lost his keys to his fuel cap
Spoke briefly with kat she sounded great and in good spirits

July 29, 2012 at 11:58 am #226883Grrrrrrr, I’m trying to check the girls spots with my iPhone and it’s a pain in the arse, if I try to zoom in it jumps to a stupid spot in the middle of the ocean ( hope the girls aren’t half way to New Zealand  )
Then again it’s probably for the best, I do bugger all work as it is, it would get worse if I watch this thread all day :laugh:PTW

Stay safe and enjoy.July 29, 2012 at 11:57 pm #226921Hi All,
Team OBT is going great. We are in Urbanville tonight with a heap of other riders. Beds and swags all over the pllace. Kat and I are going great, what amazing trails and places. The bike are both in good form and no probs. We are working llike a well oiled machine and supporting each other. We definatley have the wing man concept down pat. Its such a great experience being with such a cool chick on this. Althought its only day 3 the support we are sharing is just so important.
The first two days we rather technical and a bit knarly in spots, today was easier riding but bigger due to open dirt roads, with some beautifuly forest thrown in. Some great views. Not to many blond moments and a llot of fun.
Can’t wait for tomorrow! Thanks everybody and Charlie (TB).

bad luck at the moment :whistle:No I am told they had a trouble free run today apparently Clubby and Steve made it to Urbenville before the girls actually  rumour has it they may have maybe taken the highway
I just got of the phone from the girls. The girls dragged bear along today and said they only had a few turn arounds and are getting better with their navigation. They tried sitting a little more today to conserve energy. They talked of team work, well oiled team and sound fantastic tonight. They used the coms more Kat said warning one another of what’s ahead and swapping the lead regularly to stay fresh and share the stress of leading. I had been telling them that Nick and I had found talking when tired helped keep you more alert. The American Dan that started at Wisemans binned the 800 BMW this arvo and has a suspected broken wrist. He rode into Urbenville and has gone to a medical centre for X-rays etc. Andrew Hollis’s badly broken ankle (info from Steve at the time) turns out to be a dislocated ankle with sounds bloody painful! Another of the BMW800s that started at Wisemans is parked up with a broken shock and waiting on parts
Its hard remembering everything they spoke off Kat said she had no range and couldnt post
I am now configuring Steve’s new spot tracker that is on its way to him
Go team OBT! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
