I would have thought it more Scott as a CRF250 less extra sinkers
is 123.5, that means yours is 16 kilos lighter  Would have been interesting to weigh it at Wauchope that weekend. Would have thought another WR would be your first stop given that there is NO OTHER 250 four stroke on the market that IMO would give the trouble free run you have had, no euro and no CRF 250 anyway from what I have seen.Weigh any bike for yourself before you buy if you are buying with weight as the factory’s cant read scales we learnt at Wauchope

If you want less than 108 kg and more power then I think a shiny new 2 stroke is in order for you Scotty

I do the same Jeffro then give them a generous spray with tyre shine so they’re easy to clean next time

June 23, 2012 at 1:03 pm #211292i had a hot water tap put in the backyard that i connect to the pressure cleaner
the bike comes out spotless everytime and i dont miss my decals that much.June 23, 2012 at 8:00 pm #211293Yep, CT18 truck wash, a couple of cold ones then pressure wash. Works a treat. Absolutely no elbow grease required, which is good as I’m usually buggered after a ride. Boots are treated the same. WD40 and chain lube finish it off nicely. Cheers Budge
June 24, 2012 at 2:42 pm #211294CT18,WD40 its like a dirtbikes stable diet, have used silicone spray under the guards (not to make it shiny  ) but to clean it easy after a muddy ride. Read it somewhere in a mag once,i think mx trick to try and drop mud / weight. Recently looked at my mates identical bike to mine that has had no CT18 just wd40 coats and it looked like a pos, compared to mine.
June 24, 2012 at 9:35 pm #211295I’ve been using a lot of fresh air it works a treat i reckon
The proof is in the pudding , a bit like that Boags beer add (except it tastes like shit)
Before
After a bit of fresh mountain air

:woohoo:
Oh and a cheeky tip if you buy a reliable bike in the first place (Yamaha) it doesn’t matter if you don’t wash it as nothing will break down anyway ……………..apart from incidental crap from falling over
June 24, 2012 at 9:51 pm #211296Nice ride Bob,it just needs your signature scratches and scrapes to make it look the part.
June 24, 2012 at 9:56 pm #224883Congrats Bob, they are a nice ride mate. I have been enjoying that WR Steve has the fuel injection is so smooth and trouble free (unlike KTM
)Go forth and scratch
