I do the same Jeffro then give them a generous spray with tyre shine so they’re easy to clean next time

Never thought to use tyre shine Nick, I occasionally spray some WD40 on the buckles is all I do after cleaning.

I thought the FE390 was only 114Kg

http://www.husaberg.com/360-View.316.7.html?&bikeID=56&cHash=3d6b19316bI believed that too until an independent weigh in put that at 10 kg more dry.
Sutto’s may be able to shed some light.
STMJune 25, 2012 at 8:20 pm #224949The weights are often wrong for published figures. Either way, KTM/Berg’s don’t seem too far off the mark. All weights don’t include various fluids like fuel. A full 8.5 litre tank will weigh close to 8kg by itself.
All bikes weigh more than published figures and there is no way your WR is 108Kg

TB has a good point about a new WR250 though…………
June 25, 2012 at 8:42 pm #224955I just did an independent weighing of my bike by putting some bathroom scales under the back wheel and then the front wheel (not very accurate but good enough)
Back was 65kg, front 55kg that includes oil, about 1 litre of fuel, barkbusters, radiator guards, ultra heavy tubes and about 1 or 2 kgs of quality Neville mud.
My not very accurate measurements are pretty close to the 114kg dry claimed weight.
June 25, 2012 at 8:44 pm #224960Looks like I have to get the ct18 and wd40 out to give her a bath and then weigh again
