Yeh! thanks for that man,I’m thinking that a straight trade in at a bike shop might be the easy way out so I don’t get left with no bike. But I’l have to let the dust settle a bit I recon.I still cant ride for a wile yet anyway,But I’m keen to keep it alive.

aaaagghhh!! work computer no pics!!! am sure its piss funny tho:)

BTW Tez your RMX is probably worth about $2.5k at the most, 2nd hand 04/5 Yamaha wr250 probably close to $4-5 K but probably a good choice or a DRZ 400 probably similar.

OK… been reading all the ‘boy’ banter and its put a smile on my dial.

    Here’s some advice from a girl’s perspective:

    1. Firstly it’s important for a relationship to have activities outside of your other half’s world. Everyone should have their ‘own’ time. It what makes the relationship interesting.
    2. You have to be true to your passion and not compromise it for anyone.
    3. Your passion should be a healthy one (if you know what I mean)
    4. You should understand/acknowledge your other half’s concerns and show how you can manage it as a win/win for both.

At the end of the day if she really loves you she will allow you to have your space to do your passion but always respect her concerns.

Kat.. (pay me later … ha ha)

good point…ya gotta look at it from her perspective!

Ha mate, why don’t you try and do a few “RIDE FOR MONDAYS” like I do and get home safe and dirty, after a while she may get over it and loosen up:blink:
Sounds like you ride with the phone in your pocket on speed dial to 000?

Take it easy if not keep workin on the wrists.:woohoo:

Yeh! For sure,I do love it, The wife is starting to see that she’s going to have to live with another bike:unsure: .She just hates that RMX:evil:

    #196604

Involve her in the process and it will make all the difference. Agree with her that the RMX is a jinx and let her know that her fear for that bike is justified. Show her a few new four strokes or leave bikesales.com open on your computer. She might start to show an interest in your search and then you will have her blessing.
