Hey Mal your teaching & help were great with TB’s guidence.
I now know how to change tyres & also fix a puncture on the trail.
I have now ordered some levers for the trail & also a larger set to keep in the garage.

May 27, 2010 at 7:33 am #179844Must of been a fooly sic time down there boys,,,
I found this footage on Youtube of the `10 Kenda, he has heaps of good helmet cam footage showing all different terrain ridden down there
Looks like a tonne of fun & worth the entry fee & crowdsMay 27, 2010 at 10:58 am #180155Well the Kenda was only my 2nd mass bike rally and I reckon will be my last. The tracks were great typically high country so I wasnt disappointed. The amount of tools, gooses, boy racers, and f*#k*%ts amazed me and I was expecting it. The risks these dicks took to pass obvious trailriders was mind boggling   It reached the point that I saw a guy take himself and a slower rider out I stopped to say “who is a *&#*@&% now!” And there was another incident but that aside it was great and worth the drive.
Highlights for me
– the drive with Mal5.1 and Nick “the Bubba” Morley
– How well the event was organised
– The weather and the trail conditions
– Meeting XY, Aido, Bill, Little Dave, Choppa, and Jak (thats a huge bitch)
– Our accommodation
– The fire (well organised Menace, you and I know a 2IC is only as good as the instructions he is given)
– The nice friendly organisers and checkpoint people
– Meeting the Lovely Bec, way cooler then Bubba
– How much Mal wanted to learn regarding trucks, engines etc
– Bubba getting escorted out of McDonalds Yass on the way down
– Listening to Bubba go on for 1789kms about wanting a McDonalds dinner box
– Setting up camp at Albury and standing around having a bundy at midnight friday night
– Again riding and chatting with Mal5.1
– Watching Bills enthusiasm to learn how to change a tyre and seeing him get involved
– Watching Aido crap his pants about backing his trailer
– Watching Aido crap his pants at the start of the ride
– Watching Aido crap his pants and back out of the Nolan Dash
– Watching Aido crap his pants about anything
– Donna White rocky road and XYs rocky road.
– Having a beer with the Menace never a dull moment
– Camping at the Ettamogah Pub friday night
– Bubba opening a Bundy @ 7.10am saturday morning for his breakfast
– Bubba in generalsweeeeeeeeeetttttttttt
Low points
None really

Smashed hub on 888
Special thanks to Menace for organising all the odds and sods. I know what goes on behind all this even if its a organised ride, it would have been worse to not be able to get on the bike. Cheers Mate

Glad we could help. You should be proud of yourself mate you picked a hard trailer to learn on. The shorter the draw bar the quicker the trailer will react to you inputs. You’ll look like a professional now when you back a trailer with a longer draw bar or even a dual axel trailer.
Don’t tell you boss you can back a trailer now, he might get you a bigger truck.
Menace I have requested the recipe but it may be classified info. I’ll keep working on it for you.
June 4, 2010 at 4:34 am #179845Just had a look at the photos that are up on admcc web site and i can only make out three people. And bugger me dead if they all dont come from NSW

Ah yes,
so you did.
I suppose if i had of taken the EASY route as well i could have been back in time to get changed. But like all us Viccos we took the hard way which gave us less time for lunch.
