Hi all,
Seen as how I love reading everyone else’s ride reports I thought it was about time I posted one up of my own  lets see how it goes………Last weekend we had a kids weekend at a small (20 acre) property I have up out of crookwell.
The kids love it out there as the get to let their hair down a bit and experience things that they wouldn’t at home
The compulsory beer at the turn off tradition was nearly lost when I neglected to grab one before I left home. Luckily for me one of the boys was around 1/2 hour in front of me and left one at the turn off. Being about -2 it wasn’t about to get hot before I arrived to collect it

Good night was enjoyed. First light the boys were up and keen to go…… cooper (4)

Josh (10)

and thomas (13)

Getting up to all sorts, they seem to love the volvo……..

The big kids seem to get up to some mischief too, not sure what happened to this old, full bottle of spray foam……..

maybe this had something to do with it??

some more pics of the camp etc

couldn’t get the young fella off it all weekend…..

I think they enjoyed the weekend..
all were well behaved which makes it a more enjoyable weekend for dad thanks boys

The boys always want to have their birthdays there and they bring some mates with them as well.
Nowhere local for them to ride without racing and they don’t seem to be interested in that so they love a weekend at the shed riding, shooting targets with the .22, catching yabbies in the dam, driving the volvo etc etc etc.And i get a weekend away too :woohoo:
May 21, 2013 at 12:39 am #242207Looks like a great weekend! My inlaws have 640 acres that we used to utilise most weekends but that seems to have waned a little as of late with kids sports and girl friends. As Mallee said, make the most of it while they are young!
