Mt Colliery/barlows Gate S/t
well what a great day….
haven’t been for a decent ride for so long all but forgot what it was like…
kero mentioned on another site some where he was looking for a few lads to ride today…
sorry i don’t know anyone on here yet hope to change that some time:)
..
had all the parts for my yz and got it back together yesterday.. didn’t have time for a run in yesterday as the rain came down at home and would never had the black clay removed from the bike so it was a run in ride today….
couple of other lads crackawoody and 501freak also took up the offer of a ride on the mountain….
so ride list 4 only

the morning loop consisted of a loop around mt colliery some awesome creek crossings to start the day…followed by a small hill not having a ride for so long had forgot all about committing to the hills and found my self stuck in rut,so back down bit more throttle action and all sweet too easy….. no problems from here on till i fouled a plug a little later in the dayafter a huge downhill and some deepwtaer at the bottom it didn’t like that..
must say it is great to ride trails that actually have not a tyre mark on them,just plenty of leaf and pine needles and no Rocks…..
super greasy on the morning loop riding in a total cloud white out when we neared the highest point of the ride thankfully,kero decided not to go right up too the tower as it is no traction there on a good day
from there we back tracked to the cars taking a detour to a little hill kero has hidden up there. kero had first attempt….didn’t look like it would get claimed on this day,i was next no joy either got back down noticed freak was looking sad as he had his rev limiter on and wanted a go at the hill, so bulbs out of the yz in the wr…
few more try’s from kero,501freak and crackawoody no joy with the best from kero reaching all but maybe 6ft from top that had to hurt… we all thought you had it mate….
from here back the cars via the creek crossing’s hope there is some footage of this somewhere maybe,how cold was that water:lol: ???

afternoon trailered the bikes over to the barlow s/t awesome little bit of s/t you got there kero,i could loop around that all day no problemsB)

I’m here, Bennys on here every so often, I think a couple of others are as well, just won’t fess up. Gees man yous done gone forgot your mates or sumfink?, and we’re usually so “highly visible” too.
