Luckily Ballards have billet levers for $40

Friggin’ hell, and the KTM non billet one is $110, maybe Ballards are giving them away at close to cost, it shows how much KTM make on the parts, that lever probably only costs them $20 to make!
BMW are just as bad I think.
And they say we a destroying the after market buy purchasing parts online and fron OS, what to they expect when they do sh!t like this?

Just on the subject of billet gear levers, I lean towards a mild steel lever because they bend and can be bent back on the trail wheres a billet alloy normally snaps and thats it unless you carry one

Good Point there, I was wondering if the alloy was such a good option????
Ok for racing etc, but out on the trail on a full day or 2 day ride & snap one off = GAME OVER

For $40ea I could buy a spare for the kit and still have change. I also don’t like the idea of it bending into the case – you can probably just tell in that pic that it scratched the case. It could still happen if the steel lever snapped but it’d be more likely to go flying then get jammed in I hope.

    I suppose,
when ya can have 3 for the price of 1 original lever, Why wouldn`t ya carry a spare;)
