    Has any done the mod, was it worth it, I am tossing up the options modify to 300 or upgradre to 450klx.

    I have fitted a kitted for Chris72a Clarkey and it made a whole different bike out of it :ohmy:
    I dont know how much coin its worth, the job is fairly easy for a mechanic or mechanically mined person. It needs the air box mod a jetting kit and exhaust in my opinion to get the benefit of the 300 kit though

    Thanks TB, I have done the exhaust and jets and mucked around with the air box, but I am not convinced that it makes that much difference except putting more dirt into the filter. I have replaced the front cog with a 13 tooth(much better response for hill climbs) my mates have 450’s etc and while my KLX has plenty for my riding ability, I would like that extra bit of excelleration to keep up on the longer straight sections. I might get a few quotes from bike shops before I decide to do it myself.
