August 30, 2011 at 6:49 pm #207911Hi Rob
I wear the Thor Knee protectors and they do a good job. It is purely a money thing though mate , they are under $200 and braces are 3 times that for a cheap set , when I have some spare money I will go for braces and Asterix get a good rap from other old bullsNick
August 30, 2011 at 7:34 pm #207908I’ve had these for 3 years

Same as I have talked about above ! ? ! but I bought them in Australia from Grafton Motorcycles , they are in stock all the time too !
August 30, 2011 at 9:15 pm #207930Thanks heaps for the advice.
Nothing worse then buying the wrong thing and then it only gets left laying in your gear bag or not working correctly when you really need it. The market today is just so full of rip offs and copies.
And because i have not been riding for a long time i dont want to waste money on the wrong things. So again thanks for the advice.
RobertAugust 30, 2011 at 10:53 pm #207932Hey Rob , if your budget streches to knee braces I’d spend the extra for sure mate !
August 31, 2011 at 12:41 am #207909I run DELKEVIC Knee Braces, They are on the bottom end of the braces scale I suppose, cost me just under $400.
They are a good stepup from the O`Neal Pivot knee guards I was using fopr a couple of years.Any protection is good protection is the best way to look at it I reckon, so go with the best you can afford mate

SB,
Just had a look at those. Does the middle bit that covers the knee cap have a hard casing behind the cover material. It sort of looks like the bit that covers the knee cap is made from stubby cooler material. I’m guessing there is something hard there for protection though.
