Out with the old and in with the new.

I wanted to try something different. Bought a 2012 KTM 350 EXC-F with the front springs and a rear spring to suit 90-95 kilos, Bark Busters, Force Bash Plate and Force Rad Guards. I’ll add pivot pegz soon.

I ran it in over 3 short rides following the advice in a recent thread. I got a chance to ride it today out at Clarence with Chris72a. Chris took me around some of the nice flowing twin track as well as some pretty decent single track. Even got to do some short tight singles in the pines near the campground. Not as good as Orange was, but good fun. It was a good variety for the maiden voyage.

The bike has exceeded all expectations and I had a blast. Coming off a DRZ400 I really didn’t know what to expect other than I knew it would be a lot lighter. It glided over nearly everything, went where ever I pointed it and just felt great. The stock power will do fine for now. The 2 immediate things I noticed from the get go was the smooth power delivery and the light feel of the front end. I’m very pleased and I can’t wait to go out again……………

Congrats on the new steed Krusty. ;)

You’ll have to bring it up Wauchope way and have a ride with us.

It certainly looks the business and a nice size the 350.

Added Front Michelin Mousse Tube to the stock Metzler 6 Day Enduro Extreme.

Installed the KTM Radiator Fan. Worked well and has no problems fitting with the Force Radiator Guards.

I’ll install a new Michelin M12 with a Michelin Ultra Heavy Duty Tube just before for the B-Day Ride.

    She is sitting on 304k’s and 8.7 hours…….. B)

    Hey Krusty.

Thats an average of 34.9 kph. Pretty quick average mate where I come from.
Can’t wait to check it out next month. I am a big fan of that bike.
