    Unsure weather to buy a 450 or 530,saving for five years ,first ever new bike.Trail riding and some longer trips interest me.Is there a diff in rego prices!

    No diff in rego price.

    I will be contemplating the same thing when I get a new bike, you should check out the Husabergs too.

    530, go the extra torque and grunt there is you want for the lazy ride home ;) maybe extra life less stress, ride both if you can

    Go a berg 570 :)

    Where are you based?

    i reckon the Berg too. it’s efi. no need to play with the jetting etc.

    but ride em all, that way you get what suits You.

    Personally I’d go the 530 but that is because I have owned two 525’s
    The only down side with the extra torque is that it can be taxing after a few hours in tight singles. I love them but would now consider the 570 Berg also. Still not sold on the efi yet.

    I have just stepped up from a 4fiddy to a 570 and love it :woohoo:

    But it all comes down to the individual. Try and ride both.
