Theres one for you Lefty. Mate has fitted a 950 screen fairing to it and its running the safari rear tank with a loop bit more range. Maybe some other ideas or different look at things thought it may help

Yeah mate good for ideas for sure. Old mate has the 22lt Acerbis tank on also. Might have to look into that down the track.

Jeez Lefty, that sounds like a lot of unnecessary work. You, your gear and the 6kg of extra fuel would still be 20kg lighter than the average bloke :D

   Funny you should say that Jeffro. I weighed myself at Nick’s and with all of my gear on including backpack full with tools,3ltr water, neckbrace and spares I was 85kg!!

Need to be careful because of the oil cooler  The first tank (not sure of the brand will find out) we fitted to the 530 had to be ditched because oil cooler hit on it. (think it was a safari  )

Here are the side stands I was talking about yesterday Lefty. Heaps better looking than the standard one for climbing on and off in adv trim

    Here as well

While I was searching those I looked at racks, trouble is as we discussed access to the fuel tank will be your issue but here are some ideas, you would be better having old mate that made the tanks make one around the filler? Did he make you loop retainer?

Thanks TB. Those Promoto Billet stands and Racks are definately the business as they are CNC’d from 6061 Aluminium just like My Bullet Proof Design Raditor guards.

As for the front tank a 22lt Acerbis, I beleive will fit with the oil cooler. Not a Safari though.

    Cheers,

I’ve had two of those trailtech sidestands. One on a ktm450 i sold with it on and i’ve got one on my current ktm450

I had to die grind one of the holes to get it on the current bike but who know bike might be bent ;)

If I get on the bike adv style it holds my weight so you should be ok Lefty :)

Hey lefty, did the same to my 530, loving it.
