    Cause they go so fast we KTM riders are always on the brakes tryin to pull em up just so all the other bikes and bikers don’t feel to bad gettin smoke by us. see how considerate we are!!!!!!!! :laugh:

    Mmm I went riding with a KTM300 on the weekend, and the 125 honda and 250 yamaha didn’t notice him smokin’ us at all….

    are you sure it’s not because you’re timid buggers always on the brakes too much and overheating them……….

    It happens to alot of bikes not just KTM. But pretty much after awhile on single trails (or being stuck behind a honda rider)where you tend to drag the rear brakes alot they tend to over heat and cause the brakes to fade, The brembo master cylinder dosn’t hold alot of fluid so this bumps up the capacity and also cools the brake fluid.

    do they do slave cylinder ones too scott,

    i would think they would be more efficient, being closer to the source of heat and all??

    I’m pretty sure KTM do them as a ‘hardpart’.
