Has anybody replaced fork seals off a 2012 model KTM?
Just wondering if they have changed much from the earlier models
If they are different are there any tricks involved?
These forks have been good to me as I’ve done 9000kms and this is the first time I have had an issue
    Cheers

I did mine a couple of weeks ago, piece of cake and similar to the 07 model. You did well to get 9000Ks out of em

    Thanks Squiggle
I have done many fork seals on 04 and 07 Kato’s but was just wondering if they had changed much before I tear into them. Happy days. :cheer:

    Murph,

Have you tried cleaning them

Mine have dribbled several times over their life and come good with a clean :)

Not going to say how many k’s as last time I did it jinxed me :(

Lets just say it’s 9000k’s plus another 3600 odd

    Adam.

    Thanks Adam
But I have already taken them out and are on the bench ready to be stripped.
The LH leg absolutely pissed out (leaving a huge pool in the trailer) and it would need more oil anyway
Also doing v/v clearance check as it has been a little hard to start.
    Cheers

New seals, forks back in, new plug, new fuel filter and v/vs still within tolerance. Bike started first touch of the button so I guess it was not the v/vs.
Keen to throw some mud around with the Dude tomorrow :woohoo:
    Cheers
