To be honest, I put probably 50 hours on a 08 KTM530 and I thought the rear suspension was pretty good (read, I ride a XR600) but I did notice the front end left something to be desired.

I have 1000’s of km’s and the only time I get a smack in the arse is when I deserve it for doing the wrong thing at the wrong time, otherwise its all good, but then again acording to TB I dont ride and he is going to delete all my threads so WTF there’s no difference then to what I say

For what it’s worth I think the linkage is a better design overall, no question. It does have more moving parts to maintain, but in reality it would need servicing very little.

I have now ridden all of the Jap bikes and a few European bikes and I haven’t noticed any real difference or deficiencies with the PDS. I agree with rocket in that I think the forks could be better since most Jap bikes I’ve ridden seem to be plusher, then again I haven’t got my forks sorted yet.

All the people that seem to complain about PDS seem to throw the motorcross/supercross thing out there when they themselves have probably never seen a supercross track, let alone ridden one.

If it’s good enough for the WEC it’s good enough for me.
