This thread from ADVrider.com is pretty comprehensive, and I threw the idea about bumper stickers to tell the non-bike people it’s ok and legal to filter.

I know it wont effect the mindset of the angry bogan, or any other stereotypical group I can think of that likes to blast the horn, or cut off the bikes doing it, but it will help get the message out there. I was in the RTA the other day, sorry RMS, and asked about posters for this to advertise the new ruling, all I got was a blank stare, then “oh yeah I saw something on the news about that the other day. What is it all about?” you need to go to the government office and make that request.
