Had a bloke split the lanes on wed night on a roadie and he was doing about 90 I reckon
And the wind was blowing about 75k/hr too

I reckon there will be some carnage, as the other road users will be largely unaware of the new laws or plead ignorance,,,
Too late for bike riders in that case possibly though

That would have been handy Toes a couple of years ago on the ADV ride to Orange mate

, remember on Bell Lines rd. at the accident when traffic was stopped and you rounded every one up and we followed. How about that nice police man talking to you  :(

This came in about 9 months ago in the Sydney metro area as a trail. I have done it for years as Nick mentioned

When I was in my road bike phase years ago it was on like Donkey Kong! Narrow those things, the Tenere with packs etc is a bit different

Used to do this when I lived in Sydney in the early 80’s. It would halve the trip time no probs. Some car drivers used to get sort of cranky about it. :P

I read about this when they started the trial, it’s all to do with relieving congestion on the roads as they reckon by having bikes lane filtering congestion can go down by neally 40%.
If only the cars drivers all knew that it was legal as they can get a bit dirty when a bike moves ahead of them in the traffic jam queue.

Car drivers don’t like it…… They can get

A bike and join in the fun!

Could cut congestion by up to 70% if cars with 1 person in it was a rider on a bike.

    Now there`s a great idea XY ,
And it would do wonders for the ozone layer too , but then the mongrel powers that be would most likely whack heavy taxes on bikes
