Guys,
I’ve just bought myself a Leatt Club brace from an ebay seller in the states for $520 delivered and before they send it I’ve asked if there’s any cheaper combined shipping or group buy discount in case any of you from the newcastle/maitland area wanted to get one.
As far as I’m aware this is the cheapest deal we can get by at least $30 and most are selling locally for $700! I’d rather support local blokes but I really don’t think they can compete unfortunately.
June 25, 2009 at 3:52 am #141048In case it isn’t clear, if you’re interested just post up and only if you’re serious to buy one right now. I’ve already paypalled them and I’m not in a rush but I’d rather complete the transaction ASAP since they have my $$$$
their site is http://www.motorcyclemax.net/ and you can still get it for $520 yourself but if you get in with me we might make a saving(this is to be confirmed).

June 25, 2009 at 12:29 pm #141186That’s ok thank mate – I didn’t really know i was going to get it either but found a decent deal and just jumped in. I notice there’s one on ebay buy it now for $500+$15 shipping which is a bargain I reckon.
My other half had to do an assessment on a fella the other day and he’d had a good stack and messed up his neck and head and it kind of made the decision for me and loosened the purse strings.
BTW I was a hair’s breadth of moving to stockton this week but it fell through so we’re now moving into a place in merewether and it has a garage!

AnonymousNice work Trent, at least you’ll be able to work on your bike properly now. I’ll have to stop by for a beer when I’m back
TB – I’ll ask the concierge if they know if there is a motorcross store in the area
June 25, 2009 at 10:42 pm #141191Mate are you heading to massachussetts? There’s a KTM brace on Ebay US at a good price and I want it! I’ve asked if he’ll ship o/s but no response yet. If he does I’ll be bidding I think – not just cos I’m a fanboi, they’re the top model carbon brace and retail for $1k over here!

June 25, 2009 at 11:27 pm #141218A run of the mill wheelchair is around 2k so 1k for a new neck brace is cheep realy
new knee 15k not installed cti Kneebrace 1k even better value
June 25, 2009 at 11:51 pm #141220hmmm I thought I posted but seems I dozed off.
I rang Mal and he’s going to get back to me with a price. He seemed a nice bloke.
I think the knee braces will be the next big spend. Not only are they a good investment, they should stay in brand new condition unless you use them (read: ding yourself up) and then they’ve done their job anyway.
Now I’ll have to read up on CTI vs Asterisk
