I am in Singapore today but getting on a ferry this arvo to head over to Batam Island, my home for the next 2 years (probably).

The temperature around here doesn’t vary a great deal, it is always around the 26 to 32°C range. I m not sure what the humidity is at the moment but I was sitting outside the Indonesian Embassy this morning at 8.30 and the sweat was dripping off me. When I was walking there and back it didn’t seem so bad, probably just that little bit of breeze created as I walked along was enough to make a difference so I guess that means I can’t stand still for too long while I am here.

    The view from my room.

Might have to wander down and take a dip later. (I hope Greenpeace isn’t around, they may try and save the big white whale

Jethro don’t even think about bombing that pool from your room, you have to allow the humidity in your physics calculations cause your body surface area x the height. X the humidity will cause you to land sphincter side down on that sharp roof bit before the pool.
