    I will probably start to forget about 1 or 2 pm on ANZAC day. :laugh:

    Seriously it is a good day to remember the fallen diggers.

    I dont believe the youth of today really care anymore.

    Maybe our generation has let it slip a bit too.

    Its up to us to teach our kids the importance of the day.

    I make the efort to get down to the local cenotaph on Anzac day for the dawn service,and it is very hartening to see a lot of yong faces in the crowd,even on those rainy cold mornings.
    I think that a lot of them do appreciate the huge sacrifices made by the diggers,so they can enjoy the good life the we have here,and so should we all.

    from my observations anzac day has got bigger every year and you see plenty of young ones at the marches got to give the current generation something .

    You are so right Teza. It it so heartening to see the young ones showing up and in Tamworth’s case ever increasing numbers.
    As an ex-serviceman it is very appreciated ( even though I didn’t see active service) to see them there taking an active part in the ceremony
