    I didn’t get to go for my “Blat” today …. bought the petrol, mixed the oil, went and bought a new Gurni at Bunnings, I was all set to go … but the in-laws came for lunch and well, after a couple of beers (?) the “arvo ride” didn’t happen.

    After they left I decided to unpack the VERY last box left over after the move, it contained various “stuff” from my attic in Sydney … and these, some of the sash’s I’d won when I raced, all of the trophies are long-gone, god knows where, but for some reason I’ve kept these;

    Life is short, thank god (or whoever) that we’re still here, still able to make good mates, still able to afford the bikes we love(d) so much, and still healthy enough to ride them.

    Looking forward, not back.

    I don’t think I’ve ever won anything! I did pretty well at cross country running when I was at school, but I kept getting put up grades every time I’d get good enough to win the grade I was in. I ended doing a few state level events but was always mid pack :(

    Make sure you keep hold of them Razzle :)

    Bullcrap Moto. What about your legendary 2nd place in the Ironman section at the HVMCC Pony Express in 42 degree heat! A very hard fought and worthy win that was!

    Only award I ever got was the “Being a Goose Award” handed out by the state manager at my current employers initial 2 day induction.
