You’ll be right Huskybloke, Tim and I are about to leave now to do a bit of work on the Amazon track. Just going to fill in a couple of undercut steps that need fixing after I trenched them on the 525. Won’t make it too easy though, that would take all the fun out of it. :woohoo:
Dan, we might even seeya before the Gap mate as we will be doing a lot of tracks out towards your way in the morning. Seeya if we seeya
Too bad Diddel, maybe next time mate
Cheers
MurphApril 16, 2010 at 2:14 am #176199Mission accomplished
Amazon has been restored to its natural glory and we have finished our new local single with a widow maker at the end as it pops up onto Wangi Rd. Haven’t ridden the last section yet  should be interesting :silly:
Bloody strained my back shifting rocks
Might have a little rest then go and see if the little widow maker is makeable :woohoo: :woohoo:
Cheers

April 16, 2010 at 9:52 pm #176282Doesn’t sound good Huskybloke
We have Husky dealer just down the road at Morriset. Can I help in any way??? Maybe I could check and see if they have one??? What model and size is she??? Let me know, only to happy to help outOn another note I will shout a beer at the end of the ride to anyone who can top out on our little widow maker on their first attempt :woohoo: :woohoo: I won’t say how many times Tim and I had a go at it before we nailed it :silly:
We have made an easier route up the hill for those who are not as keen
Just a little warning that the easier version pops out pretty close to Wangi Rd, so be careful  :woohoo: :woohoo:
Hoping my back will improve after another nights sleep (still aching a bit) All will be good :woohoo:
Cheers

Just finished putting a new swing arm to shocky bush in Tims bike and we changed the leaky fork seal in mine (also replaced the bushes this time) So I hope that stops the bugger from leaking

MurphApril 18, 2010 at 7:20 am #175400Caught up with Murph & Posse at the Gap Servo today, they were a tad later than they had expected to be getting there
They were saying goodbye to one who wanted to keep the brownie pts at a respectable level  and the rest were eager to take on the “AMAZON” At least Smuph & Gilli were anyway :woohoo:Murph`s back was giving him grief and some panadol were on the menu while they rested
BTW, the Widowmaker Challenge of the morning run proved to be a winner, as noone made it uo first crack,,, SO Murph`s offer of a free beer went to waste
Can`t wait to hear the results of the AMAZON MSSION :woohoo:
It was good to see young Gilli again too,,, it had been a long time since he helped me out bigtime in the Wattos 18 months or so ago
April 18, 2010 at 7:26 am #176357Good stuff Eagle.
I’m sure we’ll hear all about when the ‘Turkeys’ come out to play.
Sounds like a ture murphsberg if no one could make it up one of his hills first go.
April 18, 2010 at 7:30 am #175401:laugh: He didn`t even make it up first crack himself
True Murph at it`s best I`d say,,,,And that was all before Wangi Rd
April 18, 2010 at 8:36 am #176358was that you at the servo with a crook knee, Eagle 02
