December 6, 2010 at 10:25 am #191977Ok now the true version,
house and I had discussed the way we would do the nabiac trip, and we agreed to stay off major type roads,
we only want old fire trails and singles where possible, we have heard rumors of the mystical trails from a certain point A to a certain point B using singles and fire trails.
5.00am
house says, like hell I says(under me breath) I dont get up that early for nothing.I conned another 1/2 hour out of the lead rider and we were set.
Took the predator to snowies sat arvo then kicked back and had a couple whilst watching ford kick holdens arse at sydney, A couple turned into the manditory 12
and i was happy when I went to bed, not so happy when the alarm went off at 04.30  .
Rocks up to snowies, crawled out of the wall and into the patrol and said something like Maccas now!
We got dressed at the berry patch after putting the fuel on Phils cruiser for him to drop it off at a predetermined spot. normal singles out of the patch and then the adventure began.
Several turn around trails later we found the creek.Enough has been said that, i recon you could pop a small mono over it under normal conditions but she was fair flowing this day.
We proceeded along in the general direction we thought we should be going. We found the fuel and then headed along some really good trails. :cheer: The trail had its fair share of fallen trees to negotiate and with Bolls in bunyip hunting mode we made short work of finding a way either around or over them. We travel for what felt like for ever and then found the locked gate.
We turned around and headed back to look for other trails, mother nature decided she had,had enough of us enjoying ourselves and sent down the rain. Call was made to head back, december the 5th and we were cold, go figure.
Bollocks decided from the get go he would roost everyone as often as he could.
he nailed snowy at the first gate, :woohoo: and I think snow got him back, house had him in his crosshairs as well. Bolls tried to roost me by parking in a puddle and waiting for me, He would have nailed me to if his bike was in gear :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
. We kept the number to a few for the reason of keeping the ride moving, we are setting out on version 2 in the new year. There will be a few rides from nundle to nowendoc pub coming up in the future people, watch this space. :side:Boony
